    The medical standard prescribed for Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant exam is given below:

    Height: Candidates should be 157 cms. Reduction in minimum height for candidates from hilly areas and tribal areas will be in accordance with the Central Govt. regulations.

    Weight: Proportionate to the height and age. ( + 10% acceptable)

    (c) Chest: well proportionate, minimum 5 cms expansion

    (d) Hearing: Normal

    (e) Eye Sight :
    6/6/9 – Uncorrected without glass.
    6/6 – Corrected with glass.
