Dear Nishit,
It is a body of law that deals with customs and practices of local and international commerce. Not a separate body of law but a legal code that governs operations of banks and businesses of all kinds. Also, it covers agreements, contracts, copyrights, franchising, insurance, licensing, patents, shipping and transport, trademarks, etc.
Hope it helps. Please feel free to revert. Click on the thumbs up or mark it as the best, if you found this useful.
