I guess you are speaking about Global CFA course. You need to have a bachelor's (or equivalent) degree
    - or be in the final year of your bachelor's degree program at the time of registration
    - or have four years of qualified, professional work experience
    - or have a combination of work and college experience that totals at least four years (Note: Summer, part-time, and internship positions do not qualify)
As per my understanding, you need to invest around 2 Lakhs across 3 levels to be a CFA charter holder.

Graduates in any discipline from a recognized university are eligible to seek admission to the CFA Programme, which is made on the basis of an admission test. The students appearing in the final year examination of graduation are also eligible.
However, MBAs, Post Graduate Diploma Holders in Management, CAs, CWAs, CSs, CAIIBs, first class graduates/post-graduates and senior executives with ten years of service in the public sector or the private sector may seek exemption from the admission test.
