NDA stands for national defense academy.
The National Defense Academy is the Joint Services academy of the Indian Armed Forces, where cadets of the three services, the Army, the Navy and the Air Force train together before they go on to respective service academies for further pre-commissioning training. The NDA is located in Khadakwasla, Pune, and Maharashtra.

NDA means National Defence Academy. It is an institute dedicated to producing the young officers to serve for India. After spending 3 years in NDA and learning Military Education, the cadets then proceed to their respective branch training institutes to train for another 18 months. After that, the cadets are commissioned into the Indian Armed Forces as officers.
