What is NDA (National Defence Academy)?

Hi Sandeep, National Defense Academy is a joint services academy of the Indian Armed Forces comprising army, navy and air force. The cadets of all three services are trained together in NDA. The exams of NDA are conducted by UPSC in the month of January every year.

Hi NDA stands for the National Defence Academy exam. NDA is conducted by UPSC. UPSC NDA is the national-level examination which is conducted to recruit qualified candidates as officers in the Indian Navy, Indian Army and Indian Air-force. After completing the training, the candidates get the rank of Lieutenant and work at the same salary The entry through NDA is open for Flying branch, Ground duty (tech) and Ground duty (non tech). All cadets of Flying branch and Ground duty (tech) would be offered B Tech in NDA and cadets of Ground duty (Non-tech) would be offered B.Sc. Degree. The fee for NDA training, including accommodation, books, uniforms, boarding and medical treatment, will be borne by the Government. Parents or guardians of cadets will be required to meet their pocket and other private expenses. Normally, these expenses will not likely exceed INR 3000/- Per Month.

Hello dear, NDA Educational Qualifications - For Army Wing - Pass Certificate in 10+2 exam For Air Force and Naval Wings - Passing Certification of Class 12th exam with Physics and Mathematics.
