What is NIFT's entrance application category for NRI studying in CBSE curriculum?

My daughter is an aspirant of NIFT. She is doing Grade 12th (CBSE) from UAE. Can she write the NIFT Entrance Exam as a regular candidate or she has to apply as an NRI? I don't want her to apply for NRI quota but to get selected via merit. Please advise.
