The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development, has starting releasing rankings of educational Institutes based on following criteria under National Institute Ranking Framework (NIFR):
(a) Teaching, Learning & Resources Ranking weight: 0.30
(b) Research and Professiona

National Institute Ranking Framework or NIRF is the first-ever effort by the government to rank higher education institutions (HEIs) in the country.
