NUCAT is the Nitte University Common Admission Test, an entrance exam for admission to undergraduate programs at Nitte (Deemed to be University), particularly in fields like Engineering and Health Sciences. The test covers subjects such as physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology for engineering programmes, and topics such as English, reasoning, and general knowledge for non-technical courses. The scores are used by the university to determine the eligibility of the students for admission to their chosen programme. It may also be used to assign scholarships and financial aid.
