what is parmanent commission

sir, what is permanent commission in defence ? can i get job after b.tech. (ME) . is there any rule that it(b.tech) should be completed by TGC(technical graduate course )? if it is not , can i apply for it . but firstly please tell me what is permanent commission?

army grants two types of commissions- short service commission and permanent commission. duration of short service commssion is 5 year while after getting in permanent commission you have to continue for minimum 15 years. even you can continue after this also if your age is less then 60.
