Permuatioan is introduced in class 11 maths chapter 6 in the NCERT textbooks. Permutations refers to method of arranging a set of objects in an specific order. One very important thing to note is that Order matters while calculating the permutations for a set of objects.
For example, arranging 3 colours A, B, and C in a flag gives 6 different permutations (ABC, ACB, BAC, BCA, CAB, CBA).Students can check our NCERT Solutions for better idea of permutations and combinatiopn for a set of objects.
