To provide applicants admission to the university's undergraduate and graduate programmes, the Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (VBSPU) administers the Purvanchal University Common Admission Test (PUCAT). The exam is conducted annually and it is through qualifying PUCAT, that candidates are granted admission to the varsity. The mode of the exam is offline and the medium of the entrance exam is English. PUCAT is in MCQ format for all programmes.
