RBI Assistant syllabus is given below:
English Language: Reading Comprehension, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Correction, Word Meanings, etc.
B) General Awareness: Current Affairs Banking Awareness, Policies Related to RBI Monetary Policies, Fiscal Policies, Government Schemes, etc.
C) Quantitative Aptitude Percentage, Time and Distance, Time and Work, Simple Interest and Compound Interest, Average, Profit & Loss, Data Interpretation, etc.
D) Reasoning: Number Series, Blood Relation, Puzzles, Seating Arrangement, Coding and Decoding, etc. E) Computer Language: Languages, Basic Hardware and Software, History of Computers and Devices.

The RBI Assistant Syllabus consists of four sections:
1. General English includes Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension, Sentence Correction and Usage.
2. Numerical Ability includes Simplification, Approximation, Quadratic Equations, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Average, Simple Interest and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Time and Work and Time and Distance
3. Reasoning Ability includes Syllogisms, Puzzles, Seating Arrangements, Blood Relations, Coding-Decoding, Inequalities, Series, Logical Venn Diagrams and Input-Output

RBI Assistant syllabus and SBI Clerk syllabus more or less comprises the same topics. However, there is a difference in the difficulty level. Both the exams are conducted for Clerical level posts. RBI Assistant exam is bit difficult than SBI Clerk exam. Both the exam comprises two stages of sekection process-prelims and Mains followed by the local language test.
