The RBI Grade B examination has 3 phases.

    Phase 1: Preliminary Examination (Online)

    • This is a qualifying exam designed to shortlist candidates for the Mains exam.

    Phase 2: Mains Examination (Online)

    • This is a descriptive exam that assesses a candidate's subject knowledge, writing skills, and analytical abilities.

    Phase 3: Interview (Offline)

    • Shortlisted candidates from the Mains exam are called for an interview.

    Final Selection:

    • The final selection for RBI Grade B Officers is based on the combined scores of the Mains exam (weightage varies depending on the post) and the interview.
