As the typing test is a skill-based assessment and qualifies candidates, it will not be included in the final merit list for the RRB NTPC exam. There is an English and Hindi version of the test. The entire test will be for 10 minutes. Candidates must be able to type 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi. The following positions are up for test-taking:

    • Senior Clerk cum Typist
    • Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist
    • Senior Time Keeper
    • Junior Clerk cum Typist
    • Accounts Clerk cum Typist
    • Junior Time Keeper
