What is SAF in JoSAA?

<p>SAF is Seat Acceptance Fees (SAF) on JoSAA. Upon receiving a seat for the first time, candidates must remit the seat acceptance fee in the respective round. Failure to pay the seat acceptance fee constitutes a refusal of the offered or allocated seat and renders the candidate ineligible for further participation in subsequent rounds of the seat allocation process.</p><p>For payment of seat acceptance fee, candidates should either use Net Banking or Debit card or UPI or Credit card facilities available on JoSAA portal or use e-challan of State Bank of India downloaded from the JoSAA portal.</p>
