Shipping Industry is a good sector where one may build a rewarding career. It is an important sector, which is crucial for the growth and stability of the Global Economy. Shipping Industry generates a number of job opportunities. Marine Engineers are required by the Industry in large numbers. After the completion of the course and 6 months of sea service, one will be able to get the Class 4 Marine Engineer Officer Certificate of Competency. Logistics through sea routes is the only viable and cheap mode of transportation in the world and now in India too. All this requires ships which in turn requires marine engineers. So over all great scope.
