    Abhishek, In the earlier times physiotherapy was considered only as an area of physical exercise and massage. Gradually people began to identify the benefits and importance of physiotherapy in everyday life which opened up the wide area covered by physiotherapy. At present many government and private sector institutions like PGI, Lovely Professional University, SGTU, etc, which functions in the medical field, have their own department of physiotherapy which looks after the mental and physical aspects of people.

    BPT course help you to start a career as a Physio Therapist. Physio Therapist have opportunities in Hospitals, Clinics, Sports Coaching Centres(Sports PT) etc. They can also practice independently.

    The eligibility criteria of the BPT programme is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English Physics Chemistry and Biology or equivalent. Some job profiles that emphasize the course of BPT are Assistant Physiotherapist, Therapy Manager, Sports Physio Rehabilitator, Osteopath, and others.
