    Mechanical Engineering is called an 'evergreen' branch as Mechanical Engineers find suitable placements in almost all segments in the industry both in our country and abroad.

    There are multiple career options available after completion of BTech Mechanical Engineering. Main criterion for selection of career option is your interest and competencies. Other criterion such growth, salary, future opportunities etc are secondary. Mechanical Engineers are required by all organisations which has production facilities. You can opt for engineering career in all industries. You can seek career in Government by appearing for Engineering Services examination, seek job in financial sector , join three Defence services and any of DRDO organisation. You can go for higher studies with a specialisation in Indian universities.
