What is so special about interview preparatory classes at LPU? Doesn't every college do it?

LPU provides PEP classes where students are trained in aptitude, reasoning, soft skills, interviewing skills, free preparation for government exams, and more from the 2nd year till placements. LPU conducts pep classes for students on every Saturday, where students have been trained how to face interview, mock interviews has been conducted, regular group discussions. Hi, Yes, LPU does offer PEP classes at LPU I have myself gone through it. Lovely Professional University has a multi-layered approach towards enhancing abilities of students in terms of skills and career. Centre for Professional Enhancement provide students with multiple platforms at the level of departments and schools. Hi there, First of all let me appraise you that LPU doesn't have any short term preparatory classes for placement interviews. It has a full fledged department which is called school of professional enhancement. The unique points about it are:
1. It kicks in early into the programme in semester 1 or 2 depending on the programme, not for few months prior to placements as in other colleges.
2. The focus is not only communication but many other skills like : Public speaking, personality development. Mannerisms, social etiquette, interpersonal and networking skills.

LPU's Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET/PET) is in fact not an hour-long session with a fixed time allotment; rather, it is a combination of physical tasks conducted in succession sprinting for 50m, broad jump, overhead medicine ball throw (3 kg for men and 2 kg for women), and finally 1000m of run/walk. The time taken in doing the complete tasks varies with the fitness of the candidate, commonly taking from 20 to 45 minutes for a session. The candidates are allowed a maximum of two attempts.
