    S. O. P stands for statement of purpose. Its a video that the University demands from a student during the admission process to assess the candidate. Its a short video (not more than 1 min) introducing yourself and explaining why you are choosing a particular course and what are your future aspirations.

SOP stands for Statement of Purpose. At Amity University Mumbai during the time of admission, every student is asked to prepare a short video (not more than a minute). The objective behind the SOP video is to get a clear understanding of the student's past academic records, their career objectives, aspirations, the soul purpose of their choosing the course and the institute, and the future objectives. This will helps the university to assess the students and keep them aligned on the same route to achieve what they desire.

Yes candidates can get admissions into the Amity Mumbai BTech in Computer Science without appearing for the JEE Mains exam. Amity Mumbai also accepts the exam scores of the CUET as well as the AMCAT in addition to the JEE Mains hence, candidates can apply using these scores. However, candidates must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the course as well.
