What is SPL? Is it necessary and is it required to become a pilot?

Hello Deep Singh,
SPL is Student Pilot License. Yes, it is necessary to take SPL to become a pilot because it's a very first stage of getting flying license.
SPL - PPL - CPL
These are the stages on which you have to get these license on time.

Thank you so much Sir! But, I haven't started studying about the course. So, what should I prefer? I mean, what is the syllabus? From where can I get the reference books, etc. please guide me with what is to be done!
