    The Sports Management Admission Test SMAT is conducted by the International Institute of Sports Management (IISM). This exam is conducted to screen candidates for admission to the IISM institute. You can get admission to sport management-related undergraduate and postgraduate courses at IISM after qualifying for SMAT. The exam is conducted in online mode and is 80 minutes long. To apply for undergraduate courses, you need a minimum of 50 percent in the 12th grade, and for postgraduate courses, you need the same score in your graduation degree. Candidates cannot appear for multiple SMAT sessions with single registration. The exam is conducted phase wise so does the registration. If one wishes to appear for the exam more than one time then they will have to register for the session specific exam. The SMAT registration fee is INR 1800.

SMAT is an easy exam. There is no pressure to score a high percentile as well. The SMAT cut off is usually around 60-70 percentile. Questions from VARC, DILR and Quantitative Aptitude are easy in nature and not complicated. SMAT exam does not have negative marking or sectional time limit so there is no added pressure. One can easily solve 60 questions in 90 minutes.
