Candidates receive +2 points for each response that is accurate. On the objective paper, 0.5 marks are subtracted as a negative marking for each wrong response. SSC CHSL marking scheme is prescribed by the examination authority, Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The CHSL marking scheme is different for each exam stage- Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3. The scores of candidates are calculated as per the marking scheme. SSC CHSL marking scheme is given below:
