What is SSC CPO selection process?

<p>SSC CPO selection process comprises Paper 1, PET/PST, Paper 2, medical exam and document verification and final selection.&nbsp;On the basis of their performance in Paper-I, candidates are shortlisted for appearing in PET/ PST Examination. PET/ PST is mandatory but qualifying in nature. Ex-Servicemen are not required to undergo PET.&nbsp;Only those candidates who qualify PET/ PST are allowed to appear in the Paper 2 exam. On the basis of candidates' performance in Paper 1 and Paper 2, they are shortlisted for appearing in medical examination. Candidates, who are successful in medical examination, are called for detailed Document Verification. Final selection and allocation is made on the basis of the performance of candidates in Paper 1 and Paper 2 and the preferences of posts/force given by them at the time of document verification.</p>
