The purpose of the SSC GD exam is to recruit candidates for the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) for the position of Constable and Rifleman and its recruitment involves three selection stages:
Computer-Based Exam (CBE)
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST)
Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
Candidates are required to clear all the stages and after that, the final merit list is prepared based on the marks secured in all the stages. Typically, the SSC Constable recruitment process takes over a year to conclude.
We hope this was helpful.
