The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) examination includes three stages named Preliminary followed by Mains and then ends with the Interview phase.

Paper 1: General Studies ( I)
- History of India
- Cultural Heritage
- Geography
- Indian Polity
- Public Administration
