The acceptance rate at University at Albany-SUNY is 68%, which means that out of every 100 applicants, 68 are admitted.  This is slightly higher than the national average of 65.5%. The University also has an early acceptance rate of 89.2%. The university is somewhat selective but not very competitive. You will need an average SAT score between 1090-1280 or an average ACT score of 22-29 to be considered.

According to various online resources, the University of Albany SUNY acceptance rate is 68%, which makes the admission competitive for international students. The University at Albany's admissions officers view a student's GPA as a crucial academic factor. Admissions officers at University at Albany, SUNY examine letters of recommendation as well as an applicant's high school class rank, when available. The institution is moderately selective & even though they expect you to live up to the requirements of GPA and SAT/ACT scores, they are somewhat more flexible than other schools.
