While Purdue University does not specifically release acceptance rates for MEM courses, the overall acceptance rate of this university generally revolves around 50% for most of years.

This is surely quite a competitive acceptance and to get in, international students are required to meet the Purdue MEM admission eligibility. This includes a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, academic transcripts and English language proficiency.

    Hi.

    • The MEM program's cohort size is listed at about 75-80 students per fall cohort.

    • Admissions requirements are described, but the site does not provide the number of applications vs. admits for MEM.

    • Some external sites (e.g. older articles or third-party aggregators) cite a “31% acceptance rate” or similar for “MS Engineering Management.” But these are not based on official counts and often give no supporting data.

  • Assessment of leadership skills will be done
  • The applicants should not worry because the interview is very relaxed and conversational.

It can definitely be worth it to pursue the Purdue MEM. This programme focuses on the technical skills of a student as well as the management skills. The tuition fee for the first 21 months is INR 20.23 L. And the average salary international grads can land is USD 117,000 (INR 1.05 Cr) after MEM. So, ROI wise, it is great.

The Purdue placement rate also stands at 92% for international students which is really good. After MEM from Purdue, international students can go for roles like Engineer Manager, Technical Program Manager and more.
