There is no tuition fee at the University of Bayreuth. But, students are required to pay EUR 172 (Around INR 19k) for the Winter Semester for 2026/27. Students may spend a monthly amount of EUR 900 for living expenses. The accommodation expenses could be around EUR 200 - EUR 500 per month. 

Many degree programmes at the Uni of Bayreuth include internships. For Economics and Engineering, there are compulsory internships. An internship during the semester should not be exceed 20 hours per week. They can work for more hours at the time of semester break.
