What is the actual scenario of MMS placements in Welingkar this year?

Hey, If I were to talk about the placement season for the 2016-18 batch, I would say it was very good and out of 120, almost 80-85 students have got placed with others opting for options like placement from outside, family business or entrepreneurship. The average package offered was INR. 7 LPA - INR. 8 LPA. The thing to keep in mind while looking at these placement statistics is that 2 major changes occurred during this year i.e. demonetization and GST Reforms. Hence, placement statistics are somewhat less than the previous year, but this was the case with almost every institute even the elite ones. Rest assured the faculty here is top notch one and a great learning experience.

Year by year, the placements of Welingkar is improving. Placements depend on the brand value and the location and I would rate a 10/10 on both the criteria having about 200+ companies coming to the campus. Seeing the past records, students from Welingkar are placed in several renowned companies like BM, DHL, Nicolas Piramal, KPMG, Wipro, HSBC, JM Morgan, iGate, UBS Bank, Citi Financial, etc. Students have even received international placement offers at the Jumbo Electronics Co. Ltd., VFS Pvt. Ltd. & Kotak Securities, the highest salary going upto 20 LPA. Moreover, the summer internships are going really good and majority of the students here get Pre Placement Offers in the same company. These offers definitely prove that the placements in Welingkar Institute of management is good enough for people from anywhere and everywhere to join it.
