The admission criteria for B.A. (Hons.) in Economics at Lucknow University is:
- Intermediate or equivalent examination with Economics as one of the subjects of study.
- Candidates of General and Other Backward Classes must secure at least 40% of marks in Intermediate or equivalent examination.
- Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates must secure at least 35% of marks in Intermediate or equivalent examination.
- Admission is through Off Campus Online Counseling.
- The candidate has to opt for either Maths or Biology in the entrance exam, which consists of 50 questions from the 10+2 level.
