Admissions to B.Tech programs, including Civil Engineering, at BIT Sindri for reserved category students are made through the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) conducted by the JCECE Board. Candidates should have passed 10+2 in the Science stream and there is no age limit for admission. A round of counselling follows the JCECE.
