- Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate of subjects - Mathematics, Physics, and any one of the following optional subjects: Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/IT and equivalent/Biology (Botany & Zoology).
- For lateral entry into the second year, the minimum qualification is a pass in a three-year Diploma or four-year sandwich Diploma course in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.
