For reserved category students, the admission criteria for B.Tech. in Mechanical and Automation Engineering at IGDTUW includes a relaxation in marks. Other Backward Class (OBC-NCL) / Defence Category (CW) students get a 5% relaxation of marks in the minimum eligibility requirements, while Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) / Differently Abled Persons get a 10% relaxation of marks in the minimum eligibility requirements.
