<p>For reserved category students, the admission criteria for Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) at DDUGU includes a reservation of seats as per the latest provisions of the government. The reservation categories and percentages are as follows:</p><ul> <li>Scheduled Castes (SC): 21%</li><li>Scheduled Tribes (ST): 2%</li><li>Other Backward Classes (OBC): 27%</li><li>Economically Weaker Section (EWS): subject to the provisions of the State Government</li><li>Horizontal Reservation:<ul> <li>Specially Abled (Divyang): 5%</li><li>Dependents of freedom fighters: 2%</li><li>Ex-Servicemen and martyrs of war, security personnel handicapped in war or their dependents: 2%</li><li>Dependents of Kargil War martyrs: 1%</li><li>Displaced Kashmiri Pandits / Kashmiri Pandits residing in the Kashmir Valley dependents of Kashmiri Hindu families: 5%</li><li>Servicemen and their dependents: 1%</li><li>Women candidates: 2% </li></ul> </li></ul> <p>To get the benefit of reservation, candidates must produce the latest certificate issued by the competent authority at the time of admission. </p><p>Eligibility for BCA programme requires passing the Intermediate or equivalent examination. </p><p>Admissions are done through online counseling based on the Joint Entrance Test conducted by the University.</p>
