    For reserved category students, the admission criteria for Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) at Guwahati University includes a minimum percentage of marks not below 40% of the total marks in the qualifying examination, i.e., the First Degree Examination in any discipline, as per the stipulation of the Bar Council of India. Additionally, 7% of the total seats are reserved for applicants from the schedule cast (SC), 10% for applicants from schedule tribe-plains (ST-P), 5% for applicants from schedule tribes-hills (ST-H), and 15% for other backward communities (OBC and MOBC), provided they attain a standard for admission by scoring a cut-off point
