What is the admission criteria for Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) at Indira Gandhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences?

<p>Admission to Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) programs is primarily based on the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE). Candidates must qualify the OJEE (Odisha Joint Entrance Examination) or JEE Main or NEET (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test) to be eligible for admission. </p> <p>The candidate shall have passed the 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognised as equivalent to the 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology as optional subjects individually. </p> <p>Provided that a student should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course. </p> <p>There shall be reservation of seats for the students belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other Backward Classes by the instructions issued by the Central Government/State Government/Union Territory Administration as the case may be from time to time. </p> <p>A pass in D. Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.</p> <p>No. of seats available: 100 </p> <p>B. PHARM LATERAL ENTRY (Direct Admission to Second Year B.PHARM) A candidate who had passed the Diploma in Pharmacy course of Educational Regulations 1991 under the Primary act 1948 from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India with a minimum of 50% marks in the final year examinations is eligible to admit direct second-year B.Pharm course (3 Yrs). </p> <p>Each candidate shall undergo practical training in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing House or Laboratory or an approved Hospital/National Research Laboratory for not less than 300 hours to be covered in not less than 2 months during the course period. B. Pharm degree will be awarded only after getting the training certificate from the training institute.</p>
