<p>The admission criteria for General Nursing &amp; Midwifery (GNM) at Shri Swami Bhumanand College of Nursing for reserved category students are as follows:</p> <ul> <li>Both male &amp; female candidates are eligible for admission in the GNM course with a female-male ratio of 80:20.</li> <li>The candidate should have passed 10+2 class or its equivalent, preferably with science (physics, chemistry, &amp; biology) from the Board of Secondary Education, Uttarakhand, or equivalent with an aggregate of 40% marks.</li> <li>The candidates should know Hindi (Devanagri script).</li> <li>Admission will be done as per norms laid down by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), State Nursing Council (SNC), &amp; the Government of Uttarakhand.</li> <li>The selection will be made by a Selection Committee in the office of Medical Education, Government of Uttarakhand, Dehradun, by advertising the seats sanctioned to various government &amp; private schools after counseling for merit/payment seats.</li> </ul>
