For reserved category students, the admission criteria for M.A. in Political Science at Panjab University includes a relaxation of 5% marks in the eligibility requirements. The student should have a B.A. with at least 40% marks in Political Science or related subjects, or B.A. (Pass) with 40% marks in the subject, or B.A. (Hons.) in another subject with 40% marks. Additionally, students with a degree in engineering/technology, AMIE examination, or other equivalent qualifications may also be eligible with a relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/BC/PwD candidates.
