Admission to the M.Sc. in Chemistry programme at Guwahati University is based on a combination of marks secured in the qualifying examination and an Entrance Test. The applicant should have passed with Honours/Major in Chemistry and Mathematics and Physics as the other subjects studied in their B.Sc. (or an equivalent degree from a recognised university). All students will need to appear at an Entrance Test for which the syllabus will be based on the syllabus for the TDC Chemistry (Major) course of Gauhati University.
