The admission criteria for Master of Computer Applications (MCA) at VIT Chennai is based on performance in the VITMEE exam. The eligibility criteria includes a recognised Bachelor's Degree of Minimum three year duration in B.Sc (CS) / BCA / BSc (IT) with 60% (as well as in class 10th & 12th) or 1st class in qualifying examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects at graduate level / 10+2 level. The VITMEE exam is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) of 2 hours duration, consisting of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
