    To gain admission to the BTech programme at NIT Calicut in 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria:

    • Have a valid JEE Main score
    • Have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects from a recognised board
    • Meet the minimum eligibility criteria set by the institute.

    The selection process is entirely based on JEE Main scores. Candidates are selected based on their JEE Main rank and past academic records.The seats are allocated through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) and Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) counseling process.     Admission to the BTech degree programmes of NIT Calicut is based on performance in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main), - Paper 1 and Paper 2 respectively. Candidates can appear for the JEE Main exam for three consecutive years from the year of passing Class 12. The mode of application for JEE Main is online.
