    To take admission in mechanical engineering,
    you need to clear the CET of respective states.
    Later, you need to have a clear idea about colleges and their courses offered.

    For admission in diploma in Maharashtra you need to fill CAP round form on Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra after your 10th result.
    Then you need to verify all your documents at Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) in the allowed time schedule.
    Then you get merit number on which your further admission process proceeded.
    After the merit number, you need to feel CAP option form in which you have to give list of your desired colleges and branches.
    On the scheduled date, DTE will publish the allotment in which you may be allotted to one of the colleges in your list.

    Hi Meeran,
    First of all you should know in which college or university you are looking for.
    I have two options for both are comes under central universities
    1-Aligarh Muslim University (Aligarh)
    2-Jamia Millia Islamia (Delhi)
    How to apply:-
    In both places you have to first fill admission forms which came between September to December, then there is an entrance exam between April to May .
    Once you are selected, you will receive intimation letters and you will get the admission.
