Interiors, textile as well as Web Design rely on the same skills - your layout skills and color sense. Journalism also is at this level and relies on your language skills and knowledge of history and current affairs. A little higher perches Graphic Design, Fashion Design, jewellery design, Acing, and Fine Arts which rely on one of your artistic skills - sketching and imagination. At a similar level perches VFX as well as Motion Graphics which rely on one of your artistic skills - Cinematographic skills and imagination. Then come careers like Animation, Film Making, Game Design which rely on multiple talents like your authority over sketching, acting, direction, voice, sound, writing, storytelling and problem solving skills etc. Any extra skill can be used in this. So it turns out to be one of the most challenging as well as satisfying careers. Sure not recommended for the weak hearted. Do remember that digital design careers (e.g. web design, graphics, UI design, animation, vfx, multimedia) give better profits since they can be delivered anywhere in the world and hence may earn in dollars - resulting in better rewards for designers. National Institute of Fashion Technology courses are conducted on certain placement tests as to general skills and creative skills test by the Institute. Upper age limit for graduate level courses is 23 years, and there is no age bar for master level courses. Graduate programs: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Course in a stream from a recognized board of examination are eligible to apply for undergraduate programs. There is no minimum score in qualifying examination to be eligible required. Anyone over 23 years old at the time of application are not eligible. Qualified candidates will be shortlisted for the general ability test. It multiple choice questions will be objective of this review. Candidates can expect to design aptitude questions and general fitness test this. The maximum time for this test is 2 hours. Those who have reached the minimum size marks in this test will be shortlisted for the second round of tests, known as the creative ability test (CAT). Candidates can expect drawing questions on the basis of this test. Applicants should have a maximum of three hours to discuss any matter. The final selection is based on scores in the two tests and compounds based testing of points awarded.
