    Yes, it is mandatory to appear in CAT or MAT or XAT or CMAT, etc in order to get admission in Jaipuria Institute of Management. This percentile score contributes to 45% weightage during admission process.
    The admission procedure comprises of following factors:
    1. Score in in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT : 45% (maximum Weightage)
    2. Case-based Group Discussion : 15%
    3. Personal Interview: 20%
    4. Academic Performance (previous): 15%
    5. Work Experience, Sports and Extracurricular Activities: 5%.
    So, if you do well in entrance exam, GD and PI, you'll have control over 45+15+20 = 80% weightage during admissions. And obviously, you'll get some mark

    Placement is ONLY FOR SALES profiles (more than 90%), average packages are overquoted by the institute to be around 9.01 LPA, which in reality is nowhere near, its staggering at around 3-4 LPA. It doesn't matter to them the domain or area you specialise in, they will push you to get placed in any company and role that comes in. You get no support from the placement cell, they literally just MEET THE TARGETS.
    Study and curriculum wise, the institute is decent enough and does a fairly good job. Highly educated and experienced professors are in enpanelled who make sure that you learn.
