@sachn41664, the JEE MAINS admission process is really simple. For getting into IITs , JEE MAINS will serve as an eligibility examination clearing which you will be eligible to write the ADVANCED paper and after that all that matters is your JEE-ADVANCED score and rank. Whereas, for getting admission into NITs , IIITs and other centrally and state funded institutions, your JEE MAINS score and class XII BOARD results matter. Your final score will be prepared by combining your MAINS score and Boards marks. 60% weightage of the MAINS score will be taken and remaining 40% weightage will come from your normalised Boards score.
