What is the admission procedures of M.Sc in physics? Do I need to appear for any entrance exam or it will be based on my UG marks?

  • It depends on the university you are getting into. If you don't have enough UG marks, then you can take up the entrance examination to get admission.

    Many universities have arranged an entrance test for M.Sc students. But some universities take admission in M.Sc on the basis of student's UG marks. Also, if you want to study M.Sc in IITs, NITs and IISc, you will have to clear IIT-JAM exam.
