    An HSC (10+2) qualification completed from a recognised Board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects and with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is the minimum criterion of eligibility required to be fulfilled for an aspiring candidate to pursue the course. Eligible candidates need to qualify a relevant entrance exam for admission to the course, such as the EYECET, which is a centralized common entrance test designed to assess the applicants aptitude for optometry.
