1. The first step is to apply for the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). The CET is a state-level entrance exam for admission to engineering colleges in Karnataka.
2. Once you have qualified the CET, you will need to apply for admission to UVCE through the KEA website. The application process will open after the results of the CET are declared.

UVCE rigorously bases admissions on the entrance exam rank, and one can only admit through KCET or JEE exam or any other entrance exams. The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) or the JEE entrance exams must be taken in order to be considered for admission to University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering at Bangalore University. Students must take NATA or JEE Main because officials take NATA/JEE Main marks into consideration for B.Arch admissions.
