Bikaner Technical University (BTU) admissions for first year B.Tech are based on the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) for candidates who appeared for JEE (Mains). Second year admissions are through Lateral Entry in Engineering & Pharmacy (LEEP) for Diploma holders

First of all, candidates should pass the entrance test which mostly is JEE main or REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission process). After that one will have to apply for counseling on REAP website where they will indicate their preferences among branches and colleges. The next step involves releasing of a merit list by the university based on JEE main scores and marks from 12th board examinations. Those who qualify will be invited for counseling where they are expected to select a course branch as well as seats in respective institutions.
